# Craft your first Toolkit

> Turn two Parts and one Wood into a Toolkit at the public Workshop.

**1. Allocate Dexterity 1**

Allocate at least **Dexterity 1**.

**2. Buy the materials**

Buy **2 Parts** and **1 Wood** at Industrial supplies for **\$75 total**.

**3. Visit the Workshop**

Go to the public **Workshop** and interact. Select **Toolkit** in **Recipes**, check that its material amounts are available and keep quantity **1**. Choose **Craft**. On a small screen, **Recipes** returns to the recipe list.

**4. Assemble three pieces**

Drag the highlighted component onto its matching blueprint outline, or select the component and then click or tap the outline. Place three components. On a controller, use **A** on the focused piece and location. Stay nearby and alive until production finishes; one Toolkit takes at least five seconds.

**5. Collect the result**

Receive one Toolkit and **10 crafting XP**, also counted as Toolkit mastery.
