# Inventory and tools

> Move stacks, equip tools and collect nearby drops without losing track of your carry space.

* **Body** has a dedicated cash slot. Other Body icons do not currently provide clothing or backpack equipment actions.
* **Dirty Money** displays its dollar value in Inventory and remains separate from cash. It is currently for future use: shops and banks do not accept it; laundering is not available.
* **Pockets** has 15 cells. Items go here; cash can also use an ordinary Pocket cell. The first five cells form your hotbar.
* Select a stack to see its actions. Drag it, or select a move action and a destination cell. Use the quantity/split controls to move part of a stack. Cash can move between Body and Pockets.
* Equip owned tools through their inventory or hotbar actions. Materials and cash have no equip action.
* **Nearby ground** shows reachable drops within eight studs. Select a drop and move it into an appropriate inventory cell to collect it. Walls and different floors can prevent access.

Carried items have a combined weight limit of **60**. Splitting stacks uses more cells. Each sticky note needs its own cell. A stolen ATM weighs **30**, so leave room before attempting theft.

Dropped items stay in the current server. Ordinary piles expire 15 minutes after their last deposit; death cash expires after five minutes. Ground items also disappear when the server shuts down. Cash drops on death only when that server's rule enables it; bank funds are separate. The private-server owner can change the cash-drop rule.
