# Weapons

> In-game Pistol and Rifle damage, crafting requirements and current firing behavior.

Pistol and Rifle are implemented firearms. Neither has a fixed shop purchase price; craft them at your own house bench or obtain them through player trade at a player-set price.

| Weapon | Damage per hit | Capacity | Supported ammunition | Carry weight | Material purchase total |
| - | -: | - | - | -: | -: |
| Pistol | 15 health | No magazine/capacity system | No ammunition items or consumption implemented | 4 | \$170 |
| Rifle | 25 health | No magazine/capacity system | No ammunition items or consumption implemented | 6 | \$340 |

Material totals are calculated shop costs for crafting ingredients, not weapon purchase or resale prices. The full [recipe table](/crafting/recipes) lists materials and mastery requirements.

| Shared firing rule | Current value |
| - | - |
| Maximum shot reach | 200 studs |
| Minimum shot interval | 0.35 seconds |
| Reloading | Not implemented |

Equip an owned, unlisted weapon from Inventory or its hotbar cell, aim with the pointer and activate the tool to fire. Weapon ownership is required; a listing reserves that copy from use. No ammunition purchase is needed in this build. Do not expect magazine sizes, reload controls or ammunition types from other games to apply.

> [!NOTE]
>
> There is no ammunition economy, magazine capacity or reloading in this build. Weapon statistics describe in-game balance.

## Crafting restrictions

* **Pistol:** crafting XP 20, Dexterity 2, Toolkit mastery 20, your own house bench.
* **Rifle:** crafting XP 100, Dexterity 5, Pistol mastery 60, your own house bench.

These restrict crafting, rather than equipping a weapon legitimately acquired from another player. There is no configured firearm job or attribute requirement for equipping. Shots require a living character, and active activities or a pending sale can temporarily block use. Police equipment and arrest systems are not included.
